Audio Visual Culture course and third term evaluation

Travel marketing

Hi!    We normally do in class normal presentations, but this time we have a new challenge; we have to present our journey to Istanbul as a Pechakucha (Nerea and me). Radio programme

Hi there! Until now we have been working in videos, but this time we will focus on audios. Our teacher asked us to record information about a song as a radio program. We collected information about the song “This is me”: meaning of the lyrics, musical analysis, group biography… And using this, we have created our “Radio Programme”. Hi!     We have been asked to interview women from the university who study science to rise awareness of people about the fact that women can study science as well. In fact, we've discovered that in the fields of psychology and criminology there are more women than men. We've also had interviewed an engineer. Human Rights video

Hi!     This is the video we ( Irati U., Irati F., Garazi, Aitziber, Nerea, Aitana and me ) have done for the contest of human rights. In fact the one we've made has been the chosen one.     As for the story itself, it's about the current life of an average girl. However, what we want to show is that even if many people have most of the basic needs, there are still many people in the world that don't have them.     Regarding to the filming, even if we've had some struggling parts, everything has gone quite well.     We think we've made a really good job and hope you like it!!! Human Rights drawing

Hi!      The teacher gave us a summary of the Human Rights, and we had to take one and record a video  explaining the right. My right was the 16th and was about MARRIAGE AND FAMILY.  This is the result:   VIDEO .

Third term

Hi!    This is the start to the third term. This term we'll start other new projects and I'm so excited to work on them. I expect to learn lots of new things about podcasts and radio, and to be able to apply them to my life. It could be very useful. Lide <3

Second term evalutation

Hi!    We've just finished the second term. This one has been harder than the other as we had to invest a lot of time filming, editing and searching information for videos / films we've made or presented in groups.We've learnt to work in groups and it has been a fantastic experience. Lide <3

A storyboard

Hi!   We are Nerea, Patxi, Manex and Lide and we have  done a storyboard on the origin of the challenge; Youngsters & FISH. We have started with a Pitch: Set in Donosti, a man is walking in Ondarreta. There is a fisher fishing a fish. The fish ends up being a krissia stick. Here is the storyboard. We will use different views and shots to do the video more entertaining: Nerea, Patxi, Manex and Lide.

Song video

Hi! We’are Nerea, Aitana and Lide and we have been working in a song video. It consists on a song with a video clip  filmed by us. Our idea has been to film people walking in Donosti. We are happy with our result because even if it hasn’t been very hard to film, we think it looks outstanding. Team members: Nerea, Lide and Aitana. Song: Walking on sunshine. Your favourite film

Hi!    Now we have to talk about our favourite film. In my case, I've chosen the film Mamma Mia! . We have to do a pitch, a story pattern  and an essay  about the film.    Pitch - Set in Greece with a 20-years-old women as the protagonist. - A musical film based on the ABBA's song. - The protagonist is searching his real father and she uses her wedding for it. The Story Pattern YOU: A happy mum and her daughter. NEED: To know who is her the father. GO: She invites the men who could be her father to her wedding. SEARCH: The mother doesn't know that the men were invited. FIND: The mum meets the men again after lots of years. TAKE: They don't know who is the father. RETURN: Everything continues like before. CHANGE: Nothing change because the mother doesn't know who is the father. The essay MAMMA MIA! - the essay                                   ...

Hi!         We are going to learn about Cinematography History through the analysis of some of the better films of 20th century. Each one has to see a film and made an analysis following some instructions. My film is:  The Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola, 1972 Film analyisis: my essay / film analysis / questions The pitch: - Based on the mafia of New York in the 1940s. - Don Vito Corleone has the power of the mafia. - Don Vito Corleone gives the power to his son, Santino. The story pattern: YOU: Boss of New York's mafia. NEED: To continue having the power. GO: They kill people who try to kill them. SEARCH: Not to have opponents. FIND: They don't reach it. TAKE: The power got it his son because they wanted to kill him. RETURN: The situation didn't return to be the same. CHANGE: The power got it a different person.

Hi!     They offered us to take part in a photograhy contest and we need to take a picture on the neighbourhood of the school, applying the tips you learnt last term.      In the picture I've taken we can see that the principal characteristic is that the water is freezed, and is edited in black and white to give more importance to the very famous monument of Chillida.
